Educator UX first, then student UX, then admin
The hardest part of an LMS isn’t the schema — it’s the course-authoring experience. Educators are time-poor; if creating a lesson takes more than five minutes they go back to recording on Loom and dropping links in WhatsApp. We invested heavily in the authoring UX: drag-and-drop module builder, bulk video upload with automatic transcoding, inline quiz authoring, lesson cloning and AI-assisted draft generation under guardrails.
On the student side we built for completion rather than enrolment: progress bars per module, streak tracking, certificate of completion, comment threads per lesson, and a clean mobile web experience because most students learn on the train or on a sofa, not at a desk.
